LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Two men accused of assaulting and robbing a man they met through a dating app were arrested on Sunday.
Officers were called to Woods Park shortly before 10 p.m. on the report of an assault. Upon arrival, they found a 63-year-old Lincoln man with injuries to his head, ribs, arms and legs. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
During the investigation, officers learned the victim met one of the men on a dating app, and they planned to meet that night at Antelope Park. As he was walking there, plans changed to Woods Park and the man offered to pick him up at 27th and A streets to drive him there…
