Suspect in violent Kansas Amber Alert will return to court

SEDGWICK COUNTY —A man accused in connection with an Amber Alert in September of 2024 is due in court for Monday.

Trevawn Strong, 30 of Wichita will attend an arraignment hearing in Judge William Wooley’s court room, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office.

Strong has been charged with abuse of a child, two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of aggravated endangering a child, three counts of criminal threat, and misdemeanor counts of domestic battery, criminal restraint, and criminal damage to property, according to the District Attorney’s office…
