Boise Police officers justified in shooting armed robbery suspect

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise Police officers involved in a shooting after an armed robbery last year have been found justified, according to the Office of Police Accountability.

Police officers were dispatched on September 24, 2024, to reports of an armed robbery on W. Fairview Ave. Responding officers found a suspect in the area, identified as Adam Lee Cook. BPD reports that Cook was also a suspect in other recent armed robberies. Cook fled the scene in a Jeep. Police pursued Cook, though they called off the pursuit after Cook began driving at a high rate of speed, recklessly endangering other motorists.
