FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A Brunswick, Maryland, man will spend life in prison after pleading guilty to rape and murder in the death of a 61-year-old woman whom he asked to shovel snow for in early 2024, according to the Frederick County State’s Attorney’s office.
A Frederick County Circuit Court judge ordered the Life plus 20 years sentencing against Juwan Terry Stewart, 19, which was agreed upon after he accepted a guilty plea for both charges back in February, officials said. In addition to his sentencing, Stewart is also required to register as a lifetime sex offender.
