Boston Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Dorchester Shooting

The Boston Police Department has issued a community alert, reaching out to the public for help in identifying a suspect involved in a recent shooting in Dorchester, a statement from the department said.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:24 PM on August 16, when officers from District B-3 (Mattapan/Dorchester) were called to the scene at 326 Harvard Street, where they found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds, this individual was conveyed posthaste to a local hospital bearing serious injuries, which underscored the gravity of the violent act that unfolded within this community. The suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and possibly a helmet and was observed escaping the scene on a scooter/moped, moving along Harvard Street toward Morton Street and then onto Walk Hill Street.
