NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) – After that chemical fire in Newburgh, fire officials say the chemicals released both in the air and in the ash debris scattered on the ground could be harmful to ingest or touch.
Deaconess officials say there’s been an influx of calls into the emergency room from people who say they are concerned for their health because of the chemicals released in this fire.
Officials say the cases they’ve treated over the last two days are mainly patients with underlying lung issues…
