HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Commuters who travel through North Memorial Parkway have become accustomed to one thing over the past few years – traffic cones. The area off of Mastin Lake Road is currently an ongoing construction site, but officials say the end is in sight.
Construction for the $34 million North Memorial Parkway overpass began in June 2023, and they’ve made significant progress so far. But that progress has not come without its headaches for travelers.
