NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating two shootings reported in Nashville on Sunday.
Officers were first called around 4:30 p.m. to a gas station on Dickerson Pike in East Nashville, where two people were injured after an altercation between them led to a shootout. No additional information on related arrests was announced.

A separate incident was reported around 8:30 p.m. at a residence — which is believed to be a short-term rental — on Salem Mason Drive in North Nashville. Officials said shots were fired through a door, and a man was struck in the upper torso.
