PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola teen is behind bars after he allegedly threatened to kill a homicide detective, according to police.

Pensacola police arrested 19-year-old Tamal Jenkins Aug. 29 and charged him with intimidation for threatening to kill the lead detective in a homicide case.

The detective is leading the 2024 homicide case of Terrell Omar Owens, who was a friend of Jenkins, according to police.

Jenkins direct messaged the detective through social media saying he was going to kill her, having grown seemingly frustrated in how the case was progressing…
