PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — From those with a need for speed and out-of-county sex offenders, the Port St. Lucie Department (PSLPD) had its hands full with a busy weekend.
Over the course of the first weekend in September, PSLPD said it arrested six men and one woman who were found to be speeding while driving under the influence.
Drove 50 mph over the speed limit, refused to comply with officers’ demands
The first arrest announced was Tarik Zein, who was allegedly traveling more than 50 mph over the speed limit on SW Airoso Boulevard. When confronted by law enforcement, he became confrontational and failed to obey officers’ demands.
