Warwick gift shop owners reeling after devastating fire

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Liz “Tish” Boucher was inside her beloved Tiger Eye Gift Shop Saturday afternoon when the fire alarms suddenly started going off.

Boucher told 12 News her landlord, the owner of neighboring business Kent County Electrical Services, had one of his employees working on the building’s HVAC system at the time.

“I thought maybe he jiggled it since he was working up there,” Boucher recalled. “He said ‘no,’ so I checked the rest of the store.”…
