Nearly 92,000 Jeeps recalled by Chrysler

(NewsNation) — More than 90,000 Jeeps have been recalled due to a potential loss of drive power, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Citing increased risk of crashes, Chrysler is recalling 91,787 Jeep Grand Cherokee Plug-In Hybrid Electric vehicles with model years of 2022 through 2026.

The recall notice says a software error within the hybrid control processor may result in a loss of drive power without warning.
