LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. — It’s National Suicide Prevention Month and this week many Wisconsin organizations are recognizing the issue.
According to Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) data, 3,039 patients were admitted to emergency rooms in 2024 due to self-harm. Wisconsinites between 10- and 24-years-old made up a majority of those patients.
