Motorcycle collision in West Lubbock claims life of 20-year-old

LUBBOCK, Texas— The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Investigation Unit has revealed new details after the West Lubbock collision that left a man pronounced dead.

According to LPD’s Major Crash Investigation Unit, officers responded to a report of a collision with injuries in the 7400 block of 19th Street at 6:38 p.m. on Saturday, September 6.

Upon arrival, officers located Jermiah Almager, 20, lying in the roadway. Almager was pronounced deceased at the scene.

LPD also stated Maria Veanueva, 71, suffered minor injuries and was transported by EMS to Covenant Medical Center…
