Boulder County crews rescue horse from mud

Boulder County crews rescued a horse and its owner from the mud two weeks ago, and thankfully the horse continues to recover.

Flashback: The horse, a 26-year-old warmblood mare named Sweetie, got stuck on Aug. 28 in the 6200 block of Plateau Road in north Boulder County.

  • The horse’s owner also got stuck trying to free the horse.
  • Rescue crews were able to get Sweetie and her owner out safely.
