TROY, NY (WRGB)— Residents in Troy are voicing their frustrations after a dash cam video surfaced on Reddit, showing a police officer driving through an intersection without stopping. The video, posted on the r/Troy Reddit page, captures a police car crossing the intersection of 115th and 3rd without using lights or sirens.
David Banks, the Reddit user who posted the video, says although the incident he recorded was not dangerous, he still describes the departments actions as reckless.
“I think that officer did it for the same reason that no one really bothers reporting it is because the top officials at Troy Police Department don’t really care and they operate with impunity.” Banks said…
