Georgia football has the biggest game of their young season quickly approaching as they travel to Tennessee to take on the No. 15 Volunteers. The Bulldogs have found a lot of success against Tennessee over the past decade, but that does not guarantee a win this season by any means.
The opening spread for this game was released on Sunday, and Georgia was favored by seven points. However, in less than 24 hours that line has significantly dropped in favor in the Vols.
Georgia vs Tennessee line movement favors the Volunteers
Almost immediately after Georgia opened as a touchdown favorite against Tennessee, the spread quickly began to move in favor of the Vols. In fact, in the span of a just a few hours the Bulldogs dropped to just 4.5 point favorites.
So what does this mean? This tells us that the public is in love with Tennessee and thinks that they will easily cover the opening spread if not win this game outright. And it’s hard to argue against the public’s thought process…
