LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– 6 News has learned that the woman who was shot in the head on I-96 is now awake and talking.
Lansing Police told 6 News they found a 51-year-old woman inside a truck in the median of I-96 with a gunshot wound to her head on Aug. 28. She was rushed to the hospital and was in critical condition.

Police say the woman was driving westbound on I-96 between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m., when someone in an unknown vehicle shot at her truck.
Investigators are working to figure out what happened and searching for the vehicle involved in the incident…
