Kennesaw considers ordinance to allow ‘mother-in-law suites’ on properties of single-family homes

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The City of Kennesaw is home to about 40,000 people.

As the population grows, city leaders say residents are asking them about housing alternatives like accessory dwelling units, or ADUs, also known as “mother-in-law suites.”

“If you can build something to assist a family member of yours or to help bring a little extra income for yourself, for your child’s tuition or daycare, I’m all for it,” Kennesaw resident Chris Appling said…
