MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Authorities are trying to find a person who got away with cash after breaking into a store and cutting into a safe, Mobile police reported on Monday.
The incident happened early Saturday morning at a Family Dollar. Officers responded to the store at 653 Stanton Road around 4:30 a.m. regarding a burglary and found the front door lock had been tampered with, according to the Mobile Police Department.
After finding damage to the inside of the store, officers discovered that a power tool had been used to cut into a safe. The unknown thief was able to get make off with an undetermined amount of cash, MPD said…
