Mobile police charge man with fraudulent card use

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man is accused of fraudulent card use at multiple businesses in the Mobile area.

According to a release from the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to a Hardee’s, located at 565 Government Street, regarding fraudulent card use on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 2 p.m.

When officers arrived, they were able to detain the suspect and contact the card’s owner, who had previously informed officers that they were missing, the release said.

Police say the suspect, identified as David Johnson, 48, made purchases at Greer’s on Government Boulevard and Dollar General on Government Street over a three-day period.
