Racial slurs, swastikas painted on walls of 2 homes under construction in Horry County, report says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A report was filed recently with Horry County police after two homes being built in the Longs area were vandalized with racial slurs, swastikas and other graphic depictions.

Grand Strand realtor Steve Alston of Keller Williams Oak and Ocean provided News13 with photos of the graffiti, which was spray-painted on a bathtub enclosure, and a wall and windows.

A police report said “someone had painted the walls and windows with racial slurs and swastikas,” causing about $500 worth of damage. The vandalism was reported to police on Aug. 31 by a project manager…
