GREECE, N.Y. (WROC) — The Greece Police Department confirmed on Tuesday that two brothers have been arrested and charged following a shooting in Greece.
According to police, officers responded to a home on Foster Road in Greece at 1:50 a.m. on September 5 for a report of a man with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, police found the victim, identified as 28-year-old Devon Smith Jr., with a gunshot wound to his hip and groin area. He was then taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the incident by police reportedly found Smith had been involved in a physical altercation with his mother before he was injured. During this altercation, his brother, 22-year-old Fabion Brock, intervened, and Smith produced a gun that discharged during the incident, injuring himself. Afterwards, Smith gave the gun to Brock, who disposed of it in an unknown body of water before officers arrived at the scene…
