At 2:57 a.m., Roseville PD responded to reports of a prowler on Lyndhurst Avenue. While en route, dispatch advised a white male adult in a white shirt was banging on the victim’s front door and had moved to the backyard. Upon arrival, officers saw a man with short hair climbing on the gate west of the garage door from the backyard. After identifying themselves as police and ordering him to come out, the man did not respond. Multiple units arrived, including assistance from Citrus Heights PD and Rocklin PD. Citrus Heights deployed a drone and located the suspect hiding near the southeast corner fence line. Officers entered the yard and found the man lying behind bushes, appearing to be asleep.
