A visiting pastor at a church in the Sunset District allegedly posed as a prestigious lawyer and defrauded parishioners out of more than $400,000 in recent years, using the stolen money to purchase a home in Southern California, officials said.
San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins charged Kenny Man Wong, a 56-year-old Los Angeles resident, with four counts of grand theft, her office said Tuesday.
