Paradeco is one of the “chicest cafes in America”

Paradeco Coffee is one of the most aesthetic cafes in St. Pete. Locals have long fawned over the design of Paradeco’s dreamy downtown St. Pete cafe (111 2nd Ave NE #101). Revelers have enjoyed similar splendor at the roaster’s new cafe in the SkyBeach Resort (6800 Sunshine Skyway Ln S). Well, now it’s not just a local gem. Better Homes & Gardens just named Paradeco one of the three chicest cafes in America.

The cafe is “a fever dream of pastel hues and Art Deco lines,” writes Kathryn O’Shea-Evans. “Paradeco is akin to Wes Anderson on a much-deserved vacay to St. Petersburg, Florida.” We can certainly envision Anderson’s next film being shot at this cafe. If you have a photographer friend, we recommend you take them here.

“There are banquettes in the shade of a flamingo, a wallscape bursting with ferns and other foliage, and curved furniture at every turn,” continues O’Shea-Evans in her brief love note to the cafe. Paradeco doesn’t rest on its photogenic laurels (though it certainly could). The cafe has earned rave reviews for its craft coffee, and I’m personally a big fan of their overnight oats. The fresh pastries never miss.
