Six years ago, an aspiring computer scientist working on a doctorate from LSU was shot and killed while moonlighting as a convenience store clerk at a Baton Rouge gas station.
Authorities say Antonio Watts confessed to storming into the Mr. Lucky’s Valero gas station along Airline Highway early the morning of Sept. 7, 2019, shooting Mohammed Firoz-Ul-Amin and stepping over his body to steal money from the cash register.
