MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Multiple people were arrested after 1 a.m. on Sunday following a fight outside of a nightclub in Wisconsin that initially started with one man punching a woman before subsequent brawls broke out.
According to the Madison Police Department, an officer was alerted that a fight was outside a nightclub in the 300 block of West Gorham Street shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday. Witnesses said that a man reportedly punched a woman.

The man, identified as 23-year-old Ellis Howard, was separated from the woman and continued to ignore commands to stop resisting. He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting. The woman, identified as 25-year-old Dana Sagapolu, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
The release added that other fights erupted at the intersection of West Gorham and State Street, and numerous agencies and additional police officers were called to assist. Pepper spray was used to force the crowd off the road as cars passed…
