The Maggiore Group, the restaurant team behind some of the Valley’s boldest dining concepts, including Hash Kitchen, The Italiano, The Mexicano, and The Sicilian Butcher, is adding a new flavor to the lineup. On Sept. 10, the group will debut The Delicatessen, a fast-casual New York Jewish-style deli in Scottsdale.
Led by award-winning Chef Joey Maggiore, Scottsdale’s The Delicatessen promises a vibrant menu that pays homage to the traditions of iconic East Coast delis while adding the group’s signature playful flair. Guests can expect hand-carved sandwiches stacked sky-high with house-prepared meats like smoked pastrami and house-cured corned beef.
The centerpiece of the concept is its one-of-a-kind bagel bar, offering more than 25 toppings ranging from classic cream cheese spreads to whimsical additions like Fruity Pebbles, cheesecake, smoked salmon, and pastrami. Nostalgic bakery treats, black and white cookies, chocolate cake, and other New York favorites will round out the offerings.
