Stranger reportedly approaches girl at Schenectady bus stop

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Schenectady police are investigating a report of a child being approached by a stranger at a bus stop.

Police said it occurred between 7:45 a.m. and 8 a.m. Monday at a bus stop near Craig Street and Delamont Avenue. A girl said she was approached by an unknown male. The person was described as a Black male with a beard wearing all black clothing.

Police are working to identify potential witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage from the area.
