CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A proposed new gun ordinance for Charleston County could tighten restrictions on firing weapons in unincorporated areas. It’s something residents who aren’t protected by city ordinances said, is neccessary.
Staff at St. Mark United Methodist Church said, hearing gunfire is a common occurrence. One that frightens the students and staff. The Senior Minister of the church, Mike Bruce, said children and students were out using the playground last year, when gunshots were heard.
