Woman wanted for theft at Opelika AT&T store

OPELIKA, Ala. (WSFA) – The Opelika Police Department is asking for public assistance finding a woman they say stole four Apple iPhones from an AT&T store in August.

Police say the suspect entered the AT&T chain on Enterprise Drive in Opelika on August 29, requested to buy 4 iPhones, then left the store without paying for the devices.

The suspect was caught on the store security cameras wearing a blue denim-style long sleeve shirt, a dirk colored skirt and white sneakers. She was also carrying a black and white handbag, according to police.
