Myrtle Beach city leaders to consider electric scooter ordinance

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach Police Department’s traffic bureau is backing a proposed ordinance to regulate electric scooters in the city limits.

“The biggest issue we see is just scooters disregarding traffic control devices, being driven at a high rate of speed,” said Officer Drew Longshore.
