Leon County Commissioners seek investigation into North Florida Fairgrounds over gifted watch

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Two Leon County Commissioners are calling for an investigation into the North Florida Fairgrounds after a gift to its former manager prompted Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil to resign Tuesday from the fair board.

The gift involved a watch just under $30,000 for the executive director who ran the fairgrounds for two decades.
