Austin vape shops welcome potential executive order setting THC age restrictions

AUSTIN, Texas — A new development on Tuesday in the battle over regulating THC could establish a minimum age for buying THC products. According to the Texas Tribune, Governor Greg Abbott is expected to issue an executive order setting 21 as the minimum age requirement for THC.

The executive order would keep THC from being a Wild West, unregulated industry. After not getting legislation passed in the first or second special sessions this summer, an executive order is a last resort.
