Touchdown Dogtown! The Dogtown Throwdown is back this weekend with an “ultimate tailgate” theme. From 4 p.m. Sept. 12 to 10 p.m. Sept. 13, the free community festival will transform the Argenta Arts District in North Little Rock into a community block party featuring live music, delicious food, local markets and family-friendly fun. Main Street will be closed from Broadway Street to 5th Street for the event.
There will be no shortage of chow as neighborhood restaurants serve up game-day favorites such as nachos, wings and sliders, and there will be drink specials galore. Outdoor food and drink stations from Brood & Barley, Four Quarter Bar, Blackberry Market, Crush Wine Bar and more will make it easy to grab tailgate treats for consumption under the dining tents.
Dogtown Throwdown is hosted by Argenta Downtown Council and sponsored by Ben E. Keith Foods, First Security Bank, North Little Rock Tourism, Simmons Bank, Alessi Keyes Construction and Taggart Architects, in partnership with Blackberry Market, Brood & Barley, Crush Wine Bar, Draft + Table, Flyway Brewing, Four Quarter Bar, Reno’s Argenta Cafe and Skinny J’s Argenta.
