HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A state lawmaker is pleading with parents to step up as a 19-year-old suspect appeared in court and a second was arrested in connection with a shooting in Nanakuli.
The incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Zablan Beach, leaving a 17-year-old boy brain dead after he was found with a gunshot wound.
