Clearwater Ferry to resume service to Dunedin after dock repair

CLEARWATER, Fla. — As the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority moves forward with solidifying their budget for the new fiscal year, it says they plan to expand services that utilize the waterways.

The agency’s fiscal year 2026 proposed operating budget sits at just over $124 million. That figure includes continuing operations of the Clearwater Ferry and adding a new stop at the Dunedin Marina.

PSTA entered into an agreement earlier this year with the previously privately-owned Clearwater Ferry. A spokesperson for PSTA says between when they began operations in late January 2025 and August 2025, they have had just over 15,000 passengers…
