INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police in Hancock County have detained a student for making threats against a school.
McCordsville Police Department officers responded to Geist Montessori Academy, 6058 W. 900 N., just after 3 p.m. Tuesday. The academy, which offers classes for preschool-aged children, is about 20 miles northeast of downtown Indianapolis.
“The student was detained and is under investigation,” McCordsville PD said in a Tuesday evening Facebook post. “Investigators are preparing a report for submission to the Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office, which will review the case and determine any potential criminal charges.”…
