The mayor of South Orange said on Tuesday that ICE is “terrorizing communities” after the agency made arrests in two neighboring suburbs in two days.
In a social media post on Tuesday evening, Mayor Sheena Collum said that a person in the village had been taken into custody by the U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, or ICE. This came just a day after two people in the neighboring community of Maplewood were taken into custody.
