Longtime St. Pete favorite Moon Under Water has officially lined up its grand return. The beloved British restaurant and bar is reopening in early 2026 at 2832 Beach Blvd. S. in Gulfport, bringing back its famous curry, bangers, and fish and chips.
The opening will come almost exactly five years after Moon Under Water’s 20-year run on Beach Drive came to an end. Leading the revival are former executive chef Mike Crippin, his wife and former HR manager Alison Crippin, and Grand Central Brewhouse owners Kevin and Jeanne Milkey.
Fans of the original can rest easy—the new Moon Under Water will feature the same favorites, with a few fun additions.

Ownership had previously explored other options in the area, but they’re thrilled to join Gulfport’s thriving community—just a 12-minute ride from both downtown St. Pete and St. Pete Beach. And yes, the free and plentiful parking in Gulfport is a big plus…
