CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WCTV) – Sawyer Crawley, a 9-year-old from Crawfordville, Florida, has captured many people’s attention with his remarkable recovery from a hit-and-run incident that occurred earlier this year.
Now, he stands on the cusp of a significant achievement: being named the 2025 Youth Athlete of the Year.
In January, Crawley was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike, resulting in a traumatic brain injury and a broken femur.
