After more than 25 years of service, current HACAP CEO retiring

HIAWATHA, Iowa (KCRG) – HACAP is on the search for a new CEO, as current CEO Jane Drapeaux announced she will retire at the end of this year.

Drapeaux has served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc. since 2007. Before being named to that position, she spent more than 7 years working for the organization, including as their Head Start Director.

In a news release, HACAP said their organization expanded it’s core service area to nine counties under Drapeaux’s leadership, and “grew its annual revenues to more than $60 million.”…
