SEYMOUR, Mo. — One of many festivals for the fall season is celebrating its 53rd year and starts this week in Seymour.
The Seymour Apple Festival is a fall tradition for many in the Ozarks, and events will kick off on Thursday, September 11th.
In preparation for the festival, roads will be blocked off starting Wednesday at 2:00 pm. This will include the square being completely closed to drivers.
The festival will boast three days of local vendors, food, live music, and fun events. Some of those events include a corn dog eating contest, the Apple Princess Pageant, a parade, and various other competitions. Vendor booths will open starting at 11:00 am on September 11th.
