A former Carson City public defender faces sentencing Oct. 24 after pleading no contest to two counts of lewdness with a child under 16 on June 30.
Originally, sentencing was set for Aug. 22 but then continued to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in the specialty courtroom of First Judicial District Court in Carson City.
