MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) After concerns from some members of the community, a Mount Pleasant homeowner is defending the police for their response after his home invasion.
This comes after initial backlash over the urgency of the response by the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
“One of the things I’ve always admired about Mount Pleasant is even though the city has grown, it’s kept its character and its exceptional people,” said Alex Skatell, whose home was broken into. “Since the incident in my home I’ve seen the character demonstrated through the leadership of the city, neighbors helping lend a hand and the response of the community.”…
