FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCSC) – The City of Folly Beach announced it will now formally be offering police officer retirement to its firefighters in a city council meeting on Tuesday.
The new resolution will officially enroll all full-time employees working solely as firefighters in the police officer retirement system. The fire department has been offering the retirement system for the past couple of years, but wants to ensure it will continue to be formally offered in the future.
