Former Fayetteville mayor honored with monument outside Segra stadium

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Former Fayetteville mayor John William “Bill” Hurley is being honored with a monument in downtown Fayetteville.

On Wednesday morning, there was a monument unveiling on Hay Street in front of Segra Stadium, next to Prince Charles along the pedestrian walkway in front of Segra Stadium, which is now known as Hurley Plaza.
