Lawrence mental health facility shutting down as lawsuit claims juvenile patient was abused

LAWRENCE, Ind. — A mental health facility based in Lawrence is closing down next month, amidst the backdrop of a pending lawsuit alleging a juvenile patient was abused while receiving treatment at the facility.

Arcadia Healthcare confirmed to FOX59/CBS4 on Wednesday that Options Behavioral Health, located on Caito Drive in Lawrence, will shutter its doors on Oct. 9.

“Following a careful and comprehensive review of the current landscape for the programs and services offered by our network of affiliated facilities, Acadia has made the decision to close four facilities – including Options Behavioral Health located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Options Behavioral Health will cease operations on October 9, 2025,” an Arcadia spokesperson said…
