CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The Medical University of South Carolina Healthcare Systems will be acquiring a majority membership interest in Tidelands Health, putting the Charleston-based system in charge of facilities in Horry and Georgetown counties.
In this expanded partnership, Tidelands will still have local governance representation and continued employment for current staff. MUSC leaders emphasize that patients will continue to receive uninterrupted care from their trusted providers.
